Step 3: Heat the Oven
Preheat the oven to approximately 400°F (200°C).
Allow the water to heat until it produces steam.
Let the dish remain in the oven for about 20 to 30 minutes.
During this time, the steam circulates throughout the oven cavity and helps soften accumulated residue.
Step 4: Allow the Oven to Cool Slightly
Turn off the oven and carefully open the door.
Allow the interior to cool enough to handle safely while remaining warm.
Always take precautions to avoid burns from hot surfaces or steam.
Step 5: Wipe Down the Interior
Using a soft cloth or sponge, wipe the oven walls, floor, and door interior.
Many deposits will come away more easily after steaming.
If stubborn spots remain, a non-abrasive scraper may help remove loosened residue.
For additional cleaning power, dip the cloth into the warm water-vinegar mixture before wiping.
Step 6: Finish and Dry
Once all surfaces have been cleaned, wipe away any remaining moisture.
Allow the oven to air dry before using it again.
Many people find that the biggest advantage of steam cleaning isn’t just the results—it’s how much effort it can save compared with traditional deep-cleaning methods.
